Raising The Minimum Wages

To many people, raising the minimum wage is a good idea and does helps a lot in everyday’s incomes. There’re many articles in the past discussing about this topic and encourages the government to take action. Even though it seems that raising worker wages is easy, it takes time for the government to decide and put it in progress. In this blog, the author once again urging people to give their opinion in this issue and make it come true. She focuses on addressing the concerns of many employers as well as the government on why we should raise the minimum wages. The author starts out her essay by indicating that we should raise the wages to $10.00 and this would increase the overall salary to $31 billion. She then goes on to talk about why Texas is the state that could get the raising done without any worries in mind. Lastly, the author ends her paper by stating that the increasing in workers minimum wages could also increase the federal minimum wages, and therefore would benefit the country overall.
After I read the blog, I like the method the author uses to persuade her readers. Unlike many other posts where people tend to give out data and convince people based on numbers. Or, in many other cases, authors quoted in voices that they think are convincing enough to change the people’s mind. In this blog, she uses her own analysis to explain the problems, as well as giving out a solution for many employers to think about. She went on to thoroughly describe why people should not worry about raising minimum wages in Texas, a place where new jobs and new opportunities get create every day.  I think she did a good job in addressing her thoughts, as well as convincing the government on why they should raise the minimum wages for the people.
